Please take the opportunity to review our Privacy Policy that follows:
At AccBST.ca we recognize that our members are concerned about the
privacy of the information that we collect from our members and our plans
for using this information. AccBST.ca collects personally identifiable
information (name, e-mail address, etc.) and/or demographic data (city,
postal code, zip code, school and company names, interests, etc.) that you
submit when you do the following:
1) Register for our services;
2) Complete a survey; or
3) Send us an e-mail.
4) Communicate with us by other methods such as telephone, chat, video
conferencing or other communication tools or third-party software.
We may use this information to process and maintain your account, compile
demographic statistics about our users, and display to you information and
advertisements that match your interests and profile. We will never sell
your personal information to any company for any reason.
1. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
When you register as an instructor/administrator/manager/student, we ask
for your name, e-mail address and other profile information. When
instructor/administrator/managers register a student, we ask for their
student’s name, e-mail address, and other profile information. We may
request additional profile information for optional online surveys and
identification verification.
When you register as a student, or when a
instructor/administrator/manager adds a student, we ask for credit card and
billing information. That information remains secure and inaccessible to
AccBST.ca. For that reason, when you change your plan type or add a
new student, credit card information must be resubmitted, unless alternative
arrangements are made with your specific organization. Credit card
information can be submitted online during online registration.
Alternatively, credit card information can be provided to an AccBST.ca or
Linkonlearning Inc. representative when registering by fax or phone at a
valid listed number in the contact us page. It is a good practice to know
the valid AccBST.ca and Linkonlearning Inc. phone numbers, and to hang-up
and call-in to ensure that you are speaking with a legitimate
representative. In these cases, the credit card information is entered into
the system on behalf of the client and the information secured and made
inaccessible.
In the course of using our website, we log certain information, including
your IP address, the browser you are using, and the previous URL you were
visiting. AccBST.ca uses IP addresses (random numbers assigned to
individual computers) to help administer our website and anonymously track
content preferences and traffic patterns. We also use your IP address to
help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website.
We use cookies (small text files transferred from our website to your
hard drive) to recognize repeat users, track usage behaviour, and facilitate
your access to and use of our site. Cookies do not damage files or allow
anyone to access your personally identifiable information—they simply allow
us to tailor information and advertisements to make your visits more
enjoyable and meaningful.
If you send us correspondence, such as e-mails or letters, or if other
users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities on the
website, we may store such information so that we can serve you better.
2. USE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We use profile information to improve our marketing and promotional
efforts, review website usage, and improve our website's content, offerings,
and layout.
We may use profile information for market research purposes and to
generate aggregate reports on students' interests and behaviours. We will
not identify specific individuals in reports.
With your prior approval, we may use the information we collect to

special offers we think you will find useful. If you would rather not
receive such notices, please contact us at support@AccBST.ca.
We use your e-mail address and, in some situations, your mailing address
or your phone or fax number to contact you when necessary. (For example, an
agent of AccBST.ca may contact you to ensure you are satisfied with the
service or to update your account.)
In the absence of a special relationship, we do not pass on your profile
information to any third party. Certain information, such as your password
or credit card number, is not disclosed.
We may disclose user information in special cases, for example, when we
have reason to believe it is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal
action against someone who may be causing injury to or interfering with
(either intentionally or unintentionally) AccBST.ca’s rights or
property, other AccBST.ca users, or anyone who could be harmed by such
activities. We may disclose user information when we believe, in good faith,
that the law requires it.
3. NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES

that affects your personal or identifiable information, we will notify you
by e-mail of the relevant changes. At the time of that message, you will be
